Day 12 post tummy tuck

Today has been and awesome day already! I slept really good (still in the recliner) except for my overly sweet husband waking me up at 130am to take my antibiotic so i would get my 3 doses in yesterday because i forgot to take it yesterday while he was at work. Anyway i got up early and went to my dr. appt where they were supposed to stick a needle in  my stomach to aspirate the fluid that was trapped in there after the drain was removed. When the dr. felt of my stomach he said it didn't feel like there was any fluid in there which  is great because i have gained feeling back in the part of my stomach that he would have stuck the needle in (EEEEK!). He also told me that i was ahead of most people on my healing and getting around which made me feel AWESOME lol. He said there are still some people that are having to drag themselves into his office after 12 days and that they will come in 1-2 times a week for the next 4 weeks for one reason or another. I'm def. glad that I am healing fast because i just dont think i could lay around for 4 more weeks!!! The best news of all was that he said that since i was doing so good and healing so well that i could start back at the gym either doing a fast walk on the treadmill, elliptical or spin class...This was like music to my ears!!He also told me that I could take the Steri-Strips off of my scar today so hopefully i can get a good pic of it later and post it!  Other than that I actually drove for the first time today which felt like I was an adult again and not a child that has to hitch a ride with people lol. Technically I'm not supposed to drive for 2 more days but I figured if hes letting me go to the gym and I have been off pain meds for 4 days I'm more than capable of driving lol. Well i finally went back to they gym today to study for my TEAS test that i'm taking on the 30th like i had planned, but i really wanted to go jump on a treadmill or something but wasn't dressed for the occasion! You better believe that i will be doing some sort of exercise tomorrow!!! Stay tuned for some close ups of my scar....or don't lol might gross some of ya'll out but i know there are some out the wanting to see what it looks like lol ;)
